Children's Ministry

Welcome! Whether you are a guest or a member, I just want to say welcome to the Children's Ministry at First Baptist Church of Lake Park. We have had lots of fun and witnessed many children come to know Jesus in the past year. God has truly blessed us. We have celebrated some baptisms also and pray that God would continue to bless this community and grow the children in Him.
We consider it a privilege and an honor to serve you and your children for the sake of the Kingdom, so please let us know if there is anything we can do for you or your family. Know that we are praying for you as we have already prayed to God about the Children's Minstry, this year, your child, your family, and our community and we will continually be lifting up these prayers to God our Father.
We also want to invite you to become a part of the Children's Ministry. Whether that just means bringing your child to Sunday School at 9:15AM, coming every Wednesday, or becoming a VOLUNTEER, we would be honored to meet with you and assist you in getting plugged in at any level, just see me or any of the teachers / coaches.
Our Children's Ministry, includes "Team Kids" which provides activities and learning for Kindergarten through 5th Grade on Wednesday evenings at 6PM.
Team Kids is divided into 2 groups:

Kindergarten - 3rd grade meets in the Pre-K house at 636 Greenbriar

4th and 5th graders meet in Fellowship Hall.
Note: Effective immediately the forms below must be completed and on file for all children attending on Wednesday nights. If you have not completed a "Registration" and "Authorization to Pick Up" please click on the link below, complete, and return with your child. Thank you.
On Sunday mornings at 9:15 A.M. there are Sunday School classes or nursery starting from birth to 5th grade.

Children from Birth to 2 years old meet in the nursery.

3-4 year old's meet in the Pre-K house with Mildred & Lenny Cottrell.

Kids 5 years old meet in the Pre-K house with Joy Brook & Linda Valente.

Children in 1st - 3rd grades meet in fellowship hall with Tom Miller.

Children in 4th - 5th grade meet in fellowship hall with Susan Jarvin.
*Special Note: On Sunday Morning, September 23, our Children's Ministry will be putting on a special performance during the church-wide morning worship hour beginning at 10:30AM, followed by a parent/teacher fellowship. Please mark your calendars now to be there as we would love the opportunity to visit with you. Thank you so much for allowing us the privilege of joining with you to raise your children in the knowledge and love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
